The Research Of Association Rule's Mining And Its Application In Business Decision

Data mining is a multi-science research domain, which merged many study outcomes of new technologies: database technology, artificial intelligence, machine learnings statistics, knowledge engineering, object-oriented method, information retrieval, high-performance computing and data visualization. For decades years' study, generate lots of new concepts and methods, especially lately years some basic notions and methodologies tend to clear, its study is developing to directions more deeply. Association rules as a important branch of data mining, the problem of mining association rules from huge database has become a hot spot, since the briefly, explainable, understandable and efficiency of catching important relationship among data of association rules, it has gratifying progress in existed outcomes, explored many individual theory faculties. But this doesn't mean the exploring of mining theory of association rules has ended. Inversely it leaves researchers abundant lessons. On the one hand, there are lots of association rules theory of application-oriented is waiting for explore and creative in these big theory framework; on the other hand, with the development of data mining and relevance technology, it must will birth new mining theory, and it will have impetus to some particular application, it may merge particular application target, such as marketing, custom relationship managements electronic business.In this paper firstly introduced the definition and several typical technologies of data mining, then gives its faculty structure and run course. Secondly mainly describe basic theory of association rule mining and classical mining algorithm Apriori, including the algorithm of generate rules, then analyze the efficiency of algorithm Apriori. Improved algorithm AprioriTid and AprioriHybrid, here also provided seven directions of modified algorithm of association rule and the choice of some platform tools which is suitable for mining association rule, such as Oracle 9i data mining. At last do some research on the application of association mining in business decision from supermarket buying-foods analysis realm, this research mainly through analyzing purchase behavior of customs, mining association relationship from two sides: between goods and goods, customs and goods, after the explanations of these association rules ,give some guidance on business decision.
