This article analyzes that the public sphere shows new changes, when the Microblogappears as a representative of social media. The Network media greatly changed our lifestyleand reshaped the social relationships with changing the structure of social power. Firstly, thechanges made by Microblog maximize communicative rationality, which is closed to the idealcommunication scenarios of the Habermas sense. The development of Microblog willpromote the structural transforming of public domain and provide an opportunity for revivingthe public sphere. Secondly, this paper through the fact of Guo Meimei’s flaunting wealthanalyzed the structure of public sphere on the internet with the result of struggle andcompromise among government, social and market. Finally, the article means that it has manyobstacles when regard Microblog as totally public opinion. However, we cannot conclude thatthe prospect of the public sphere revival is killed. In China, Microblog has the potential ofbeing the ideal public sphere which has been confirmed by internet public events. NowMicroblog is changing the structure of public sphere as the closest approach to public sphere.
