For the traditional growing shortage of fossil fuels,many governments have starteddeveloping renewable energy to solve energy crisis. As a kind of renewable energy,tidal-current energy is being developed in many countries because of its high energy densityand good predictability. At present,adopting turbine to generate electricity is the main formof use of tidal-current energy. From the fundamental study to the experiment on prototype,borrowing wind-power technology to owning its own technology,tidal-current powertechnology is becoming riper now. Domestic tidal-current power technology is still in theresearch and experiment phase. Based on the current situation of tidal-current powertechnology of domestic,the author designs a electric control system for the independenttidal-current energy conversion system whose system capacity is10kW. The major contentsof this thesis are as follows:Firstly, the structure forms of tidal-current energy conversion device, energy transferdevice and electric energy conversion device in tidal-current energy conversion system aredesigned. Tidal-current energy conversion device form is horizontal axis turbine withaugmenter duct; Electric energy conversion device form is three-phase permanent magnetsynchronous generator; Generator connects directly to the turbine.Secondly, the structure of electrical energy transformation and processing unit andcorresponding control system with it are completed in this thesis. The structure of electricalenergy transformation and processing unit is “AC-DC-AC”. Load regulation loop is addedto the DC link to meet the demand of long-playing system. Control system whose core isARM microprocessor includes peripheral circuit for ARM, driving circuits for IGBT andthree-phase inverter and other auxiliary circuit.Thirdly, the mathematical models of PMSG and three-phase AC inverter areestablished. Control strategy of the electronic control system is also proposed in this paper.Control strategy for three-phase AC inverter is the theory of space vector pulse widthmodulation. For the boost circuit after rectifier, climbing search method based on boostcircuit is used as maximum power tracking control strategy. By a method of dynamicallyadjusting, the load regulation loop can adjust the output power of system to achievereasonable distribution for load. Finally, based on the hardware and software of electronic control system, its modelingand simulation by Matlab software are developed. This paper also shows some data ofsystem operating. Modeling and simulation objects include boost circuit, SVPWMwaveform, inverter circuit and the system. Through simulation results and operating data,the design of electronic control system is correct and feasible.
