Human expanding ocean exploitation, which makes demand on the coverage area ofUnderwater Communication; At the same time, point to point has been difficult to meetunderwater battles. So it is necessary to carry out the research about Underwater AcousticCommunication Networks which establishes Communication Network in the sea.One team ofUnderwater Acoustic Engineering College in Harbin Engineering University, researching onUnderwater Acoustic Communication Networks, carried out constructing underwater acousticcommunication experimental network test platform. Basing on the requirements of displaycontrol software of this platform, the thesis researched on the Sea Virtual Scene ofUnderwater Acoustic Communication Networks, and realized3D display.The thesis used Virtual Reality technology in the design of Display Control Software, byOpenGL and Microsoft Visual C++2010, and implemented Sea Virtual Scene and3D displayof nodes models. It was compenent to implement the3D display demend of the DisplayControl Software.The thesis introduced the definition, constitution, requirement, trait and work way ofUnderwater Acoustic Communication Networks. In the introducation of the work way, thethesis contrasted three kinds of topology structure, and emphasized one Network: Ad Hoc.Flowing its adoption, there are some kinds of work way about Communication Networks.Based on Underwater Acoustic Communication Networks and its topology structuretheory, the thesis analyzed function and display requirements of the software’s display part,and finished sea scene and3D display of nodes models. The details: Based on the P-Mspectrum and using bump texture, animation technology to realize the sea waves, simulatedthe light in the ocean, using the fog technology to realize the simulation of the brine, hybridtechnology achieving transparent sea surface, loading DEM format file submarine terrain and3D displaying the terrain by using multiple texture mapping and detail texture splicingtechnology, loading3ds file of nodes models and realizing3D display and node selectionoperation by using material, texture, display list, pickup technology, display both Chinese andEnglish characters in the interface.In addition, this thesis also programmed to realize some functions of the software, whichrelated with display function, they include: human and machine interaction function, roamingand navigation, scaling, menus and toolbars, the deploying and pickup operation on nodemodels, the virtual marine environment and broadcast control about environmental sound, network node organization management, display and operation, the file system management,real-time monitoring, simulation and playback operation.
