As the enhancement of ocean scientific review and domain control, the demand of data transmission with underwater information transmission network has been increased. So, extending the communication network from land to ocean has been an important direction of ocean scientific development. However, the domestic research of underwater acoustic networks is still preparatory, which requires lots of basal research, and constructing a real underwater acoustic networks costs amounts of human and money. So doing the research of underwater acoustic networks with the computer emulational technology is a wise idea. The thesis is based on the underwater acoustic network simulation sofeware development project, and the main research focuses on computer network communication and display console. In the thesis, the computer network communication is carried out with Winsock programming, based on the Client/Server modal. The display console is in charge of controlling and coordinating the software running, and it is divided into five parts: the project controlment, the network parameter setting, the simulation controlment, the simulation result analysis and display part. The thesis is mainly based on the design and actualization of the network parameter setting, the simualtion controlment and the simulation result analysis. The development is under the environment of Visual C++ 6.0, applying MFC, OpenGL, multithread processing and other technologies. The test results indicate that the computer network console can support the software data transmission well. The display console fulfills the predefined requirements and runs fluently during the simulation process.
