The analysis of the communication link is a very important part in the design of thecommunication system, its core concept is to budget and evaluate the technical indicators andthe error performance of the communication link using relevant theory and scientifictechnology. Field strength prediction is the most important part of the link analysis system, itis usually the basis of study the problems about the characteristics of radio wave propagation,it can directly affect the efficiency and scientific of the communication system, so it plays anincreasingly important role in the radio related fields, and also in the field of civil aviationnavigation and mobile communication systems.According to the needs of the modern wireless digital urban development, this paper isgoing to accomplish the theoretical modeling analysis of the radio channel of the radio/TVsignals, using radio wave propagation models to complete the high-precision mathematicalmodeling, and at last to realize the field strength calculation by using computer. Thedevelopment of the system is divided into two parts.The first part is theoretical research,mainly includes the understanding of the concept of radio waves and the radio propagationbasic theories, and the study of four kinds of radio wave propagation model, they are theITU-R P.1546model, Okumura-Hata model, Egli model and the two-path model, and finallyselect the most suitable model for the system by contrasting the four kinds of models,then tocombine with a variety of the correction factors to complete mathematical modeling, thissystem also provides the handling method when the signals beyond the angle of the receivingarea or there are obstacles in the propagation path, so the simulation results can be morereality.The second part is the software development part, this system use Visual C++and SQLServer database to design the total system, modules and the man-machine interface.This radio/TV signal link analysis system can receive the transmitter’s attitudeinformation which is sent by the digital map software, calculate the theoretical field strength,input the actual field strength, contrast display the data, and storage and query the data. Basedon the model analysis and processing of the radio/TV signal wireless transmission link, thissystem can realize the theoretical modeling and simulation of the multi-band radio channel,this can give reference to independent research and development suitable for China’s fieldprediction software, and own the extremely high commercial value and use value ofpopularization...
