The Design And Development Of Faculty Educational Administration Information System Based On Web

With advancing in technology, the continuously developing of society, information hasbeen incorporated into all walks of life. It is an inevitable trend to informationize in Chinahigher institutions. Higher institution web has become one of the hallmarks ofinformationization,and Web-based educational management information system is thevanguard of informationization of higher institutions. As the scale of China higher institutionsgets continuously enlarged, resources get constantly accumulated, school faculties graduallyexpand and varies, it is getting more and more obvious that the original management of theUniversity educational administration can not meet the needs of faculties very well due toits bad operability. The faculty educational administration information systems have becomean independent system, so the common information management system for the educationaladministration has been difficult to keep up with the times.According to this,this paper mainly aims at the status quo of educationinformationization in the Information Management Department of Hengyang IndustrialVocational and Technical Institute, uses the advanced network development platform anddatabase technologies, and studies how to informationize the educational administration andhow to make full use of the existing informationization resources in the circumstances offunds for the department at the relatively tense. Based on this analysis, the paper paysemphasis on the introduction of such sub-systems that the informationization management ofthe educational administration should have, and constitute the functional organization. On thisbasis, the paper detailedly analysises the various subsystems, sets forth how to develop thesubsystems and the difficult points in the development in accordance with the demand,studiesin the deep way and puts forward my own design and implementation approach. Theinformation management system of departments is based on B/S model and the.NETframeword, uses ASP.NET and SQL Server2000to realize.After the trial, the system achievesthe initial objectives and requirements, but the system need further strengthen theinformationization in order to run safely and effectively. The system has the followingfeatures,such as beautiful interface, easy operation, easy modification, easy expansion. The study resolves some difficulties that the Hengyang Industrial Vocational andTechnical Institute confronts in the process of operating the informationization under theexisting conditions and explores a road to execute informationization in educationaladministrations.
