With the development of the technique of the computer and network technology, applying advanced management information system to manage the goods information effectively becomes the trend of the development. At the moment, the goods information management software has been adopted for the management of goods information in the telecommunication profession, which enhances not only the validity and the accuracy, also the service quality of goods management. But with the unceasing expansion of the providing line and the business line, also the information safety needs, the current goods information management software is unable to meet the demand of development in the telecommunication profession. For effective managing the goods information by computer and network technology, the goods information management system based on message server is investigated.The process of designing and developing the software is explained in the thesis. By analysis of user's need, JSP language is chosen for web server and database Oracle as back-stage database. The problems, in complex isomerization network and distributed environment by C/S developing approach, are effectively solved via using Browser/Web/Database structure. The system is composed of system management, in-storage management, storage management, ex-storage management, comprehensive inquiry, information management module and so on. The application of message server is able to provide stable platform for distributing system news and transferring files. According to their own jurisdiction, users are able to receive and distribute information by message sever, and transfer contract and goods list files on time. Message sever is built on the UNIX environment, in which the message server calls database by the web server, avoiding to directly accessing to the database. And the encryption technique is adopted in the procedure of transferring data. The socket connection is used by calling compiled class file for transferring files. All of them guarantee the safety, reliability and stability in the process of information transmission effectively. The system can meet the requirements of practical production by testing. It can solve the problems effectively in the course of managing the traditional goods information system, and achieve cross-sector, cross-region, cross-platform and large data volume business model by advanced computer and network technology to realize the multifactor goods management.
