Transgenic technology and biology is one of the most popular topics in the area ofscience life in twenty-first Century. With attention rate deepening ceaselessly among thepeople in the area of the new biological technology awareness and biological productsapplication, the reports about the transgenic are also gradually becomes the focus ofthe audience In order to comprehend the relevant foreign reports of transgenic,especially the reports of American mainstream media’s which is the most developed inthe area of the transgenic technology and biology. Based on the "New York Times" asthe object, this article is trying to researches into the reports about the GMO from1983to2011.The reports about the transgenic of "New York Times" are adept in creating fairand objective “Pseudo Environment” for the audiences. As for the position attitude ofthe reports, the readers are allowed to take part in the process of transgenic reports,express the attitude for theGMO freely through the sections of their letters, while otherreports is appeared in neutral attitudes. Then, because of its objectivity and theaudience’s active participation,"New York Times" transgenic reports not only get theaccess of quality improvement, but also change the situation which traditional Media islack of communicational information and audience interaction.The transgenic reports of "New York Times" pay much more attention of thepluralism in information resources. In all of the sources, official sources ranked thefirst, followed by the enterprise itself and journalists, scientists group are arrangedfourth.
