In an iron and steel enterprise, manufacturing devices are valuable means of production,whose management have been a major focus. The management of their archive information hastherefore become a significant component. The management system of device archiveinformation in an iron and steel enterprise is an enterprise-level application that has realisedinformatization management of device archive, through which not only can archive informationbe managed scientifically, but the production efficiency and the information construction canbenefit prominently.As an enterprise is developing and its business requirements varying, the enterprise isdemanding itself to progress in the information construction process. The C/S mode as aparadigm of conventional information technique is far from fulfilling the requirements of theenterprise. On the other hand, the B/S technique as a typical software-architecture has beenprogressively approved by the developers of the management system for its new Webdevelopment technology.This paper firstly presents an introduction to the background and briefs the content of theproject, along with the analysis and summary of the process followed by the device archivemanagement systems whose function modules meeting customers’ requirements are illustrated.According to the J2EE architecture, it carries out a software-architecture scheme thatincorporates the three mainstream J2EE open-source frameworks, Struts2, Spring and Hibernate,as well as the front end framework ExtJs that employs the Ajax technology. It then puts forwarda sensible solution to the realisation of a number of specific tasks of the system. Finally itvalidates the feasibility of the system by demonstrating the operating effect and performance.The research in this paper deals with the scheme that embraces SSH2composite frameworkfor informatization management, where the device archive information management for a certainiron and steel enterprise is accomplished by concrete coding. The results reveal that the system iscapable of performing the fundamental tasks of device archive management, and further booststhe economic benefits for the enterprise via informatization management.
