Nowadays, television culture has become the masses’everyday life’s important ceremony in China. The problem of television program innovation stays as a challenge to the TV culture producers. This problem not only limits the further development of our media industry, but also becomes the hotly discussed topic in the academic circles recently. This paper will do a close reading of the Ten Innovative and Excellent TV programmes in2010with the help of modern interdisciplinary cultural study theories. On discriminating the concepts of "new ideology", television programmes and columns, this paper aims to do a deep research on the topic of television program innovation in the following three aspects:the concept innovation, the content innovation and the form innovation, in order to promote the Chinese TV programme’s innovation and the development of TV media industry.This paper is divided into six parts.Part one is the "introduction", which presents the current situations of Chinese TV programmes and columns, and the reasons why this paper chooses the Ten Innovative and Excellent TV programmes of2010as the studying text. Then it will analyse the TV programmes’innovation importance under the "new ideology" context. Finally, the research procedures, methods and meanings will be stated.Part two mainly talks about the "new ideology" context and the concept innovation of TV programmes and columns. Firstly, it discusses the main stream ideology of our nation, initiates the correct direction of the mass cosuming culture, which takes the dialectical relation between bases of culture and economic benefit into account. Then the shortages of the Ten Innovative and Excellent TV programmes on the concept innovation will be summarized.Part three focuses on the content innovation of TV programmes and columns. It consists of three concrete aspects:the first one narrates that the contents of TV programmes are fusion of main stream ideology and mass culture; the second one analyzes the construction of public domain trend and value judgment dialectically; the third one intensifies the consciousness of the content of "three’s". Finally, it will point out the shortages of the Ten Innovative and Excellent TV programmes on the content innovation, which try to improve the content to realize the TV programmes sustainable development.Part r four discusses the form innovation of TV programmes and columns. It is contructed by three levels:the first one focus on a variety of columns’ form, the second one discusses TV programmes’combination, the third one analyzes the breakthrough of TV program’s form from the composing elements of TV. Lastly, the shortages of the Ten Innovative and Excellent TV programmes on the form innovation is analyzed, since only the distinctive content and the novelty form can make the TV programmes become the focus of the audience.Part five is the summary of the matching and integration of content and form. Firstly, it grasps the accurate integrating point, then it explicits basic orientation of columns, lastly it is looking for familiar "defamiliarization" in the column originality. The paper also makes some thinking about the Ten Innovative and Excellent TV programmes’s matching and integration.Part six is the conclusion of this paper. This section illustrates the necessity of TV programmes’ innovation in the new ideology context. It hopes that the relevant TV media personnel may follow the innovation ideology, combine the content with the form so as to improve the overall quality of our TV programmes and columns.
