Contemporary Context Of Photography Professional Journals Topics Planning Research

Topic selection and planning have always been playing the most important role in theeditorial work of professional photography journal. Both the quality and social economicalbenefits of professional photography journal is fundamentally based on the topic selection andplanning. Therefore, a positive research on the principles and methods of topic selection andplanning has become an urgent issue concerning the survival and development of the professionalphotography journal.This paper intends to study the professional photography journal from the view of topicselection. The paper also makes an analytical research on the definition, significance,characteristic, topic resources of the topic selection and planning of the professional photographyjournal, and studies the principle of topic selection and planning from four aspects: orientation,practicability, timeliness, pertinence, aiming at gaining beneficial experience from the study andapply these experience in the editorial work in the future.Five chapters constitute this paper. Chapter one: introduction, mainly introduces the reasonfor choosing this topic, research object, review of domestic and international research,significance of the research, framework of this paper. Chapter two categorized the contemporaryprofessional photography journal, reasoning the definition of professional photography journaland the study object of the paper, categorize the readers and makes an analysis of theopportunities and challenges existing in the development of professional photography journal,chapter three analyze the topic selection and planning in detail, mainly studies the definition,significance, universal characteristic, topic resources, article resources, implementation, the futureof topic selection and planning in the era of modern media. Chapter four introduces the principlesof topic selection and planning and summarizes the orientation, practicability, timeliness,pertinence of topic selection and planning with case studies. The last chapter extends to the futuredevelopment of photography journal from domestic contemporary professional photographyjournal, and makes prediction of the developing trends.
