Multi Formats Input And Output Video Matrix Design And Implementation

The main function of Video Matrix is that it could make the input signal of any port dispatch to any specified output port through the internal processing of the device; in order to achieve the switching function of the video signal without cable plugging and pulling. With the development of science and technology, more and more kinds of high-definition digital signals and analog signals are used by people. The traditional single format video matrix can’t be direct access to high-definition digital signal, for it needs to make complex signal format conversion in the forepart, that brings lots of trouble to the customers and construction units. This shows that the demand of multi-video formats input and output video matrix is very urgent.The thesis is aimed to develop a multi-video formats input and output video matrix, to make the input and output board supports a variety of analog signals and digital signals; and can make the transformation of the format and resolution of the input and output signals, in order to meet the demands of back-end different display devices. The work in this thesis makes following main contributions in the field:(1) Through the analysis of the demand of the variety of analog signals and digital signals used at the worksite, the input board scheme, output board scheme and exchange core scheme of multi-video formats input and output video matrix are designed; and the inspection standards of the quality, implementation of the reliability analysis are put forward;(2) According to the design scheme, the input board scheme, output board scheme and exchange core scheme of multi-video formats input and output video matrix are implemented, and the control software to make control of the system is designed;(3) The thorough analysis of the related problems of the high-speed signal integrity which involved in the multi-video formats input and output video matrix is made.The multi-video formats input and output video matrix which designed and implemented in this thesis has already been put into use in many worksite. Customers can easily make different kinds of analog and digital signals input device connect to the matrix system, after the video signal through the scaling processing of matrix system, can easily make the connection to the projector plasma display and other analog and digital display devices through the outputs. This system has effectively reduced the signal conversion equipment at the customers’ worksites, reduced the complexity of the whole system, and made a big degree of advance in image quality.
