Design And Applications Of Web-Based Enterprise Information Portal System Performance Testing Model

With the development of enterprise informative construction and updates of enterprise management means, Web-based enterprise information portal system (Enterprise Information Portal, EIP) has been widely used, which has the characteristics of complex business, a large number of concurrent access, fast response time, high requirements of stability and reliability, and its performance directly affects the efficiency of office work, how to carry out EIP performance testing with effective is critical. According to the characteristics of Web-based EIP system, analysis the user’s behavior and business test scenarios, this thesis proposed an enterprise information portal key business performance testing model and its specific application process, which proved through practical projects. The main work in this thesis includes:(1) On the basis of the analysis of Web performance testing principles, methods and indicators, focused on two traditional performance testing model and its limitations, compared and selected the best tool from the current mainstream performance testing tools.(2) Through the performance requirements analysis of Web-based EIP system and summarizes of the key business operations of users that affect the performance of system, proposed a key business performance testing model which applied to EIP system, explains four elements of the model includes key business operations, business test scenarios, typical access time point, performance indicators.(3) Map the four components of EIP key business performance testing model into the design of test cases, development of test script, design of test scenarios, analysis of test results, and extract the specific applications process for EIP key business performance testing model.(4) Based on the actual project, describe the performance testing model and its specific application process in detail, and analysis the test results, draw a conclusion from performance testing and make suggestions on performance optimization, eliminate performance bottlenecks, ensure that the system can reach the expected performance indicators. The key business performance testing model proposed in this thesis which provides an effective model and guideline for the implementation of enterprise information portal system performance testing, enhances the efficiency and quality for EIP performance testing, with a large reference value for performance testing on a similar project.
