The Design And Implementation Of Military Slip-ring Automatic Test System

Slip-ring is the device that can be used to realize electrical transmission in two relatively rotational structures. Military Slip-ring, a kind of slip ring, is not only complex in production process, high requirements for quality and often working in poor conditions, but also has many parameters to be tested. Usually, the slip ring is tested by traditional method of manual testing, but there are some disadvantage in this way, such as inefficiency, seriously harm to tester’s body when test the environmental suitability. Thus, to solve the problems, this thesis desired an ATS (Automatic Test System) to substitute for traditional method of manual testing.The main works of the thesis include:(1) The development status of ATS technology both domestic and foreign is analyzed. Furthermore, the structure and test requirements of a certain model slip ring are described.(2) The requirements of the ATS are analyzed, which ensures the design goal and functional requirement of system; the hardware architecture, software structure and working process of the system are indicated by the overall design of the ATS;(3) According to the overall design of ATS, the detailed designs are provided, which include:selection of measuring instruments, designs of adapter, test cable, and coding of key program.(4) The actual connection between ATS and the slip ring is made, both the correctness of system interface design and ability of software for all test items of the slip ring are validated.The realization of slip ring automatic test system for slip ring will reduce the personal errors, workload and improve test efficiency, as well as greater limit the harm to human body from environment experiment. Furthermore, it provides experience for the realization of similar device automated testing.
