When the dual band infrared optical system works in the different environment, it is sensitive for system to the changes in temperature of environment. The changes in temperature will reduce the imaging quality of the optomechanical system even the performance of system. So not only need to design a optomechanical system with reliable performance but also need the strength analysis and thermo-optical analysis for the optomechanical system. In this article, through analysis of dual band infrared optical system, finishing the optical-mechanical structure design, strength analysis and thermo-optical analysis for the system. From the result of design, the mechanical structure is convenient for adjustment and disassembly and it is reasonable for the choosing of material. It is satisfied with the requirement of optomechanical system. In strength analysis of the opomechanical, the minimum inherent frequency of system unit is5097.9HZ and it is greater than50HZ, so it is impossible to resonance for the system; At the same time, the thermal stress of machinery units in dual band infrared optical system are less than yield strength of own material, so it is also impossible for the permanently deformation. In thermo-optical analysis, completing the thermal deformation analysis in whole temperature field and axial temperature field with heat integration method, in order to make the optomechanical system work well, finally we propose a thermal control index and reference proposal.
