Laser diode (LD) pumped green lasers which has become the research focus on laser technology in recent years because its important application in many fields, such as laser materials processing, laser color displays, medical laser, and the laser isotope separation. But also it has compact structure, light weight, high efficiency, good beam quality et al.In this paper, using the output power of30W laser diode(LD)pumped the laser crystal of Nd:YVO4, which doping concentration is0.2%. Innovative inserted a thickness of1.5mm Cr4+:YAG passively Q in the cavity, this is to improve the peak power density of fundamental beam. The experiments confirmed that significantly improve the SHG efficiency. The laser resonator structure is designed into a three-mirror folded cavity. Effectively suppress the1064nm laser to participate in the oscillation, and achieved the1085.4nm laser stably output. By choosing reasonably a10mm long type II critical phase matched RTP (Rubidium Titanyl Phosphate Crystal) crystal to intra-cavity doubling frequency. When the LD output power reach to28.5W, so the maximum output power of5.83W and wavelength of542.7nm green laser is obtained. Mass factor of laser beam is M2=1.26and optical to optical conversion efficiency was up to20.5%. The output power stability in3hours surpassed4.7%.
