All-solid-state laser has become a hot application in the international laser industry because of its characteristics of long life-time, high power, good coherence. In this paper, we have made a series of theoretical and experimental researches around LD pumped all-solid-state red pulsed Laser, which lead to high quality, high powerful red lasers.(1)Basing on the1319nm Nd:YAG crystal four-level rate equation theory, we obtain the threshold power, output power and slope efficiency in both conditions of all-solid-state lasers.(2)we design the LD side-pumped Nd:YAG laser resonant, and analysis the thermal effect of LD side-pumped Nd:YAG crystal with detail, to get the formula of the thermal focal length. A thermal stable three-mirror-fold cavity is designed.(3) Basing on the nonlinear second-harmonic generation theory and intra-cavity frequency doubling, we choose a suitable crystal for high power all-solid-state red laser.(4) Through the optimization of the system, as high as57.4W660nm red pulsed laser output has been obtained when the incident current is30A and the frequency is10kHz. The output power stability in2h is better thanĀ±1%.
