Pulsed laser range finding system is a technology which measure the distance based on determines the time intervals between laser pulse signal and echo pulse signal. It has advantages of simple structure, long measurement range and fast response. So this paper select the key technology of semiconductor laser range finding system as the research object, increased the measuring range of semiconductor laser range finding system and the accuracy of measurement, make it has wide application future in security military defense, civilian production fields and so on.This paper focused on key techniques of the main components of semiconductor laser range finding system. Fist of all, designed and simulated drive circuit of laser transacting module, by studying the way which get distributed parameter of the semiconductor lasers. It could obtain high power and narrow pulse output of transmitting laser beam, the transmitted signal was180W of peak power and pulse width was10ns. Second, the receive module received the echo signals by photo detector which sensitivity was high and bandwidth was wide. Meanwhile, in order to suppress noises, signal amplifying circuit was optimized. Then, analyzed the process of echo signal processing, improved signal-to-noise ratio by multi-pulse detect, fast digitized based on FPGA and MCU, ultimately improved range and precision of distance measuring system.
