Nanosecond narrow pulse laser has its extremely short pulse width, fast signal pulse rising and extremely low duty ratio. Moreover, Nanosecond narrow pulse laser is suitable for long distance detection for its good Nano-chromaticity as the common laser, fast response speed. Its technology advantage decided its wide application range, in some military fields such as laser guidance, pulse laser radar, and some civilian fields such as laser ranging. In the transceiver and measuring system of narrow nanosecond pulse signal, some technical characteristics such as extremely short pulse width and fast signal pulse rising determines that the narrow pulse signal receiving and measuring system need high ADC sampling rate and chip to the data processing ability. The width of the pulse signal in nanosecond level is the key problem to these factors, how to implement acquisition and measurement of nanosecond pulse signal data with the premise of not using ultrahigh speed ADC acquisition chip has been a key problems needed to be resolved in narrow nanosecond pulse laser applications.This paper designed nanosecond narrow pulse laser signal transceiver and measurement system, aiming at technical characteristics of nanosecond narrow pulse laser signal. Based on the technical characteristics of the narrow pulse laser, at first, we design narrow pulse laser launch system and carefully study and test the technical details of the launch system. Using charging and discharging process of capacitive, which produce narrow nanosecond pulse laser signal, realizes the narrow nanosecond pulse laser system. At the same time, according to the characteristics of narrow nanosecond pulse laser signal produced by launch system, designed receiving and measurement system which match the narrow nanosecond pulse laser emission system, including hardware and software. In the design of hardware, broadening processing is proposed on nanosecond narrow pulse signal, which makes narrow nanosecond pulse signal broaden to microsecond by pulse broadening circuit. Such treatment can greatly reduce requirements of the narrow pulse signal to the ADC sampling rate, which not only reduce the cost of the system and also further reduce the complexity of the circuit. Narrow pulse signal is Widened and then sent to TMS320F28335 DSP for data acquisition and processing. We can find the information of the size of the narrow pulse signal peak and peak position through the writing of the program.At the end of the article, I analyzes the pulse waveform figure of oscilloscope gathering locations of narrow pulse signal, summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the system, puts forward improvement suggestions of the system.
