This study mainly has the aid of prism scanning technique to establish a new type of laser radar range finding system. Range finding mode used in the past just can complete an object detection by laser pulse, but this new type of laser radar range finding mode is able to complete the detection of all objects within a certain range, hits the mark through the programmable logic device FPGA, eventually forms cluster type and multiple object to capture this core process, so as to improve laser radar range finding further.For the management of core technology, we mainly hope that drive stepping motor works more reliably, reduces rising period and its width of laser transmission pulse, strengthens receiving circuit signal to noise ratio, makes time interval timer become more rational while forms a comprehensive and effective mechanism for improvement. The system consists of four systems, laser scanning, time measurement, high power narrow pulse width laser emission and precise laser reception. Launching link forms a pulsed laser met the requirements by means of measuring the precision of laser to handle; receiving link completes the photoelectric conversion by PIN type photoelectric test device. It finally completes effective management of laser emission clock frequency, high frequency timing clock frequency multiplication and other aspects, makes system can meet the requirement of accuracy and reliability.In final, we implement test and analysis for optical laser ranging system, analyze causes of deviation according to test data, and carry out simulation analysis for FPGA signal processing. In the test, the deficiencies of the whole design were found, the following work direction and the problems to be solved were put forward.In view of the laser radar ranging system mentioned in this article,After using the field of laser scanning methods such as divided into to satisfy the multiple target distance measurement, this method compared with the previous laser ranging, it has higher credibility, and it is able to get more target distance data.
