The optical wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technology is the most significant technology of the high-speed and large-capacity space optical communication systems in the future which is applied in optical communication systems extensively. In optical fiber communication system, WDM is a mature technique. However, there is a lot of research which have to be improved in space optical communication systems.This paper researches the transmitter system of the space wavelength division multiplexing, and analyzes the key technologies of wavelength division multiplexing system; The paper selectes the devices used in the WDM system, mainly including Lasers, Modulators, wavelength division multiplexer, EDFA, etc; The paper designs the laser device’s drive circuit, auto control temperature circuit, EDFA control circut and software.By researching and analysing the space wavelength division multiplexing system, the paper set up system design scheme, constructs space laser transmitter system basing the light wavelength division multiplexing, and also combines the actual devices and specific parameters to research. It also designs the laser drive and control unit and EDFA control unit. Through simulating using the simulating software Optisysterm, indoor experiment and adjust device parameters, eventually we get the simulate and experiment result and proves the feasibility of the system.
