With the development of science and technology in recent decades, the night vision technology is mainly used in military and other fields. For the United States, it has been developed to the fourth generation, but China is being developed with the third. So, more studies for third generation technology to be needed. It provides good technical support for the optimization of third generation and the development of fourth generation of night vision technology. Micro-channel plate is one of the most main components of third generation image intensifier, its characteristics become one of the factors determining the development of third generation of night vision technology. It composed by prevent ion feedback film and micro-channel plate.This thesis research and analysis the electron transport properties of third generation micro-channel plate from two faces. First, analysis the electron transmission characteristics of prevent ion feedback film, and comparison the Al2O3and SiO2two kinds of prevent ion feedback film. Then, we analysis the electron multiplier characteristics of micro-channel plate. We analysis the secondary electron multiplier for micro-channel plate in the first, and then analyzed and calculated the gain of Micro-channel plate.
