Research And Implementation Of3G Mobile Police System Based On Android

Along with the network popularization and the spread of Mobile Computing around the world, existing Desktop public security information systems can not support and meet the needs of the tasks which need to be handled in-site processing timely by front-line police officers who are in a mobile state, as well as limit the efficient using of existing systems greatly. This system provides the public security departments with a most flexible and efficient solution.Firstly, this article analyses the domestic and overseas study actuality. Then, it introduces the related concepts and theories about mobile computing, Android mobile phone platform,3G technology etc, and it also expounds the3G mobile police system based on Andriod get a high availability and vast development prospects by combining the feature and advantage of the technologies mentioned above.The development platform of this system is Eclipse6.0, and it adopted many kinds of technologies to accomplish functions such as JavaScript technology for Andriod client application, Apache HTTP client for network communication, Servlet for responsing customer request at the server-side, tomcat which is open-source for Web Server, MySql database for data storage and the way to connect to database is JDBC connection mode.The main completed work is as follows:(1) Design the system use case diagram and the overall function module design by conducting the feasibility analysis and needs analysis, and give the E-R database diagram, data table design and JavaBean, XML data processing.(2) Detailed design the five function module:information inquiry, information collection, file upload, GPS positioning and system settings. Describe the main functions and detailed application functionality, GPS is electronic map positioning through MapActivity and Map View into Google Maps, including my address, query by address, query by latitude and longitude, tracking trajectory for police officers to operate on the location information, show the schematic diagram on AVD.(3) Install the system to the real machine and uses the testing tools Apache J Meter to conduct black-box testing and system performance testing. And this part also draws the diagram of the test results and to analyze.Based on the Android platform and the introduction of mobile technology and3G technology, mobile policing system further improves the utilization of existing public security information system, to meet the all-weather, full range of front-line police officers support needs.
