In recent years, with the development of science and technology and the medical model and social change, public health concepts and traditional way of life changed, physical examination as an important preventive health measures are increasingly subject to public favor, the hospital medical service is also showing a trend of rapid growth, medical centers on the efficiency of daily operations, safety and normative has put forward higher requirements. Under this premise, the hospital medical center developed information technology, and planned a series of information system solutions as well, in order to reduce the patients’ waiting time in the queue, and create a favorable environment. So intelligent guide system for physical examination came into being.This thesis describes an intelligent guide system for physical examination center, which consists of three program modules, self-service line terminals, integrated service desk management procedures and the calling terminal program. Such three program modules send messages and data to achieve interaction by the way of positioning through the IP network. Queuing system achieves the data exchange with the HIS system by WebService interface. Queuing system which has simple and friendly interface is developed using c#. Finally, the thesis with the medical center has developed intelligent queuing system, described the concrete implmentation of the system, and showed out practical effect part of the system diagram.This thesis describes the background and the subject of current development at home and abroad, relevant technology in system development used, the system’s functional requirements, and design of software systems in detail (including self-service line terminals, integrated service desk management procedures and the calling terminal procedures and database design). Before the part of the implementation of software systems, the hardware was described firstly, and then three program modules were described in detail.In the part of system operation and testing, the application test environment was deployed firstly, then functional modules of the system and the overall operation of the test methods and results are described. In the end of this thesis, the work in thesis and the future work are summarized.
