In recent years, with the development of industrial automation, therequirement for the precision, resolution, stability of the photoelectric encoder isgetting higher. The debugging for output signal of encoder is the necessity stepfor detecting the quality of encoder signal. In China, the debugging for outputsignal of encoder depends on manual or semi-automatic operation, which has lowefficiency, poor consistency and is susceptible to the influence of artificialfactors. So, the development of encoder output signal debugging system whichhas high precision, high resolution to improve the accuracy and quality of theencoder is of vital significance.Firstly, according to the requirements of the function, performance and testprecision, the overall design scheme of the system is formulated. By analyzingthe theory of date acquisition, the front-end device is selected, the testingagencies including rotation and clamps is designed and machined, thus, theconstruction of the system hardware platform is completed. Considering from thefunction of the system software, the development platform of labview is selected,and software is simplely described.Secondly, according to the requirement of signal processing, the overallframework of measuring software is formulated. Dynamic signal measuringsoftware is developed.Date communication, signal conditioning, signalinformation collection, signal analysis and processing, and other functions aremainly researched. At the same time, these functions are verified. Real-timefeedback and measurement Signal information in real time feedback andmeasurement can be achieved.Finally, from the standard of signal debugging setting out, the overallframework of automatic commissioning is formulated. Date communication,judgement and analysis, the compensation algorithms, date calibration andautomatic detection and other functions are mainly researched. At the same time, these functions are verified. Automatic debugging of output signal of encoder canbe achieved.The performance of output signal of absolute encoder is verified, from theresults of the contrast of the before and after debugging, the analysis of the dateto evaluate the reliability of the system. Through the inspection, the system canreal-time measue signal changes, compensate the errors of signal amplitude,offset and phase, improve the debugging time of the output signal. Experimentsshow that the debugging system of output signal of absolute encoder has highreliability, significant effect of debugging, and can be used in practicalproduction.
