The photoelectric shaft encoder gradually have permeated form civil industryto the aviation industry and space flight and high technology applying or otherfield in application;In this field it are brought forward higher requirement inproperty, reliability, dimension, weight of product; and the encoder must works inbad environment. The reflection photoelectric shaft encoder of base part is madeof metal substrate and metal film; The metal grating has superiority in higher orlower temperature environment, and with respect to pounding and vibration; alsomounting and adjusting is very easy. The mid-high precision and tiny linewidth(line width between 0.01mm and 0.02mm)of reflection photoelectric shaftencoder has no reprot in the civil; it is brought forward by the reflection metalgrating as base part in the topic, and the reflection photoelectric shaft encoder isresearched.We have the base of technology and equipment in grating manufacturing andresearching many years ago, and we have all kinds of conditions in technology;also we always provide products for the civil industry. According to the coatingtechnology and grating manufacturing, the principle and technology of thereflection metal grating have been studied by us; According to the measurementtechnology of grating and three-grating principle, The method to obtain thereflection grating signal have been studied by us; On the grating inspectionequipment, we have used two kinds of method to obtain signal, The question ofsignal that we have obtained have been analyzed, and the means of processing hasbeen put forward by us. By comparing experimental results of two kinds ofmethod, the method to obtain signal have been determined on the basis ofobtaining stable signal. The grating signal is a periodic function, it is assessed bythe harmonic analysis method, the grating signal can be expressed by the functionwhich has much harmonic orders, in order to obtain high quality Moire signals, afew means which how to get rid of the grating errors and signal processing method are discussed after understanding the grating signal quality assessment ofmethod and quality index.The reflection photoelectric shaft encoder errors is put forward in the topic,according to the factors of affecting the reflection photoelectric shaft encodererrors, the main cause of errors have been analyzed, and the encoder errors havebeen estimated by the principle of composing of errors by us. The reflectionphotoelectric shaft encoder of two main parts are the reflection metal grating andshaft, it is important for the encoder errors, the reflection metal grating errors is aperiodic function too, so it is assessed by the harmonic analysis method, Thenumber of reading setup and distribution have been determined according to theharmonic orders; The reflection grating of errors curve and measurement resultswhich is applied in the topic have been presented by us. The shaft errors has beencontrolled in the course of designing and manufacturing, and it has been tested,and the tested errors curve and results after assembled has been presented. Incomparison with the transmission grating signal, the reflection grating signal hashigher direct-voltage; therefore, it is necessary for signal processing tocompensate and get rid of direct-voltage; The signal adjusted results has beenpresented according to subdivided and displayed circuit demand, furthermore, thesubdivided errors by 120 times has been estimated by us.In finally, the mearsurement method of the photoelectric Shaft encoder isdescribed in this paper, we have used two kinds of method to test the reflectionphotoelectric shaft encoder errors, and presented the mearsurement results.Our aim is the manufacturing technology and the photoelectric shaft encoderon the basis of the reflection metal grating by our research, let it work in badenvironment.
