Automatic LED die bonders are devices that are controlled by specified programs committing spot welding and die bond automatically, which are industry robots in manufacturing process for LED production. The LED industry has been growing rapidly in our country since2010, and equipment manufacturing enterprises are also competing for the market share of LED die bonder. With more and more similar production in LED die bonder, there are problems of being homogeneous going badly, so how to make use of differential competitive advantages for promoting is becoming an inevitable trend in fierce competition.My work in this design derives from practice experience of some design company, and we are entrusted to improve the aesthetic attributes of LED die bonders by means of industrial design, thus making products conform to ergonomics principle, unifying enterprises’visual image and improving brand effect in market and sale. Combining the theory of industrial design aesthetics, humanized design theory, theory of brand strategy, my work focus on the design objects, automatic LED die bonders, and by doing literature survey, consultation, on-the-spot investigation, enough research and analysis, design orientation is determined from background of design, cost and market positioning to predict the design direction of the enterprise. By doing research on material, manufacturing process, surface processing and industry specifications, concept sketch mapping, scheme evaluation and computer-aided three-dimensional modeling are done. A deep-going analysis is performed among three selected designs on appearance design to provide a solution of product appearance for enterprises.
