With growth of people’s security requirement, the existing network video surveillance system cannot meet the precise needs of intelligent alarms. Urgent need to develop an intelligent network dome, it can serve as a network video surveillance system head-end to provide accurate intrusion alert, stay alert, relics alarm, license plate recognition, traffic statistics, density statistics and object tracking and other functions, network video monitoring provides intelligent foresight factors.Based on this, we design a model based on Da Vinci technology-intelligent network dome. The solution uses two high-speed TI DM6437and DM355media processor and embedded Linux operating system platform. Independent development of intelligent video analysis algorithms running on the DM6437processor is responsible for the flow of the video analysis and processing and the formation of the metadata preserved, its outflow through the DM355video hardware compression module on the formation of streaming media encoding. DM355also responsible for the management of all peripherals, responsible for providing embedded web configuration user interface.The solution will eventually provide modular intelligent network dome boards; can be embedded into existing analog dome camera, providing people with high-quality intelligent network video surveillance system head-end. The author in this project was completed for the overall demand analysis, the overall design of embedded systems, the leading embedded OS/DB/Web server migration, packaging and distribution of the algorithm and the overall test plan and test implementation.
