Research On Multifunction Display System Based On Arm ControllerLPC2214Embedded System Design

With the developing of computer and semiconductor technology, the multi-function color LCD system has been the display device integrated with techniques of computer control, video, photoelectron, micro-electron, communication and digital image processing. Currently, the developing trend of large screen display involves higher brightness, stronger environment adaptability, better luminescence uniformity, larger screen and higher reliability.In this article, the developing of multi-function color LCD is discussed. Selecting ARM single-chip microcomputer as the core of hardware platform and using KEIL developing software platform, it is realized the designing of multi-function color LCD.It is firstly introduced the developing trend of multi-function color LCD in the country and abroad, then it is discussed the function and system structure of multi-function color LCD, as well as the software and hardware designing frame of the system. The highlights of the article are the developing of hardware platform and software platform of the multi-function color LCD, main control card software compiling and debugging of multi-function color LCD based on arm controller LPC2214. For the hardware platform, it is emphasized the designing principle of the platform and designing principle and evaluation of each hardware modules; for the software platform, it is discussed the designing and realizing of each software modules, as well as software optimization. The aim of the topic is to develop a multi-function color LCD product, and explore the method of cooperation designing software and hardware of the control system, laying a basis for future indepth research.At the end of the paper summarizes the paper, and the next step of work made aprospect.
