The traditional method monitoring the main system and main device running of thethermal enterprises is the use of drawings and manual handling, working flows arecumbersome and inefficient and lower accuracy, it can not meet modern office needs. Withthe increasing degree of modernization, the old monitoring method stops the improvement ofefficiency and gives it inconvenience management, even it causes many repetitive work andwaste of human resources.The design goal of system is to implement three-dimension display of the powerplants ofthermoelectric company and displays related device information. Because the application ofthree-dimensional animation WEB-based X3D, the system may display not only runningstatus of the main system and main device, but also real-time running and monitoring data ofthem. Once the accident appears, officials at all levels and higher-level of the company maydirectly see the running status and real-time running and monitoring data of the incidentalsystem, and then take effective measures to reduce losses. It will be used in the futurethermoelectric production work.The characteristics of this system are the designation of main system and main devicethree-dimensional model of the pipeline and the application and study of X3D in monitoring,The three-dimension may reduce the workload of the staffs of thermoelectric company andmake them more intuitive to see the running results.The system uses B/S architecture, because B/S architecture’s the advantages such assystem stability and a zero-maintenance of client-side and strong expansion and betterinformation transmission capacity and the timelines of production control. The systemmainly uses J2EE development platform and uses the technology of JAVA, JSP and SPRINGframework, HIBERNATE and so on. The system uses the database for DB2. The complete ofsystem may largely reduce the thermoelectric staffs workload. At present, the system is in thestage of trial operation.
