This paper discusses the design and implementation of Shanghai Auto Ltd.’s automobile product integrated quality management information system. This system is a business information system combining the company’s product technical features, client characteristics and quality technique service with the company’s future business management targets and strategy. General speaking, the system’s development reflects a closed-loop integrated quality management procedure from discovering a product quality problem to implementing real improving methods in product design and manufacturing.This paper amply discusses the system’s function demand. The system’s main functions include quality report management function, quality service management function, fault experiment and data management function, and product manufacturing improving management function. It also discusses the system’s software design scenario, such as data management platform design, main business flows’internal logic and implementation, and some main function modules’interface functions, main database storage programs’ implementation, etc. It completely discusses the system development from software engineering view. In the end, the paper briefly discusses the system’s testing. This system uses Web server with backstage database system structure to develop, backstage database uses Oracle10, web server uses IIS Server and is developed by.NET environment.Through the above functions and their data, the system not only provides quality improvement’s direct status information, but also provides important basic information for future quality improvement. The system runs stable right now. It not only improves the company’s quality management efficiency, but also integrates quality management with the company’s main internal transaction management such as product design, product manufacturing and customer service, efficiently supports the company’s integrated quality management strategy.
