The Study On Application Of Network Storage And Disaster Recovery Technology In Digital Libraries

With the rapid development of information construction, as well as the increasing of typeand amount of digital resources, the storage system as the core of digital library in digitallibrary is highlighted in the storage space.In addition,data security and system stability alsodetermines whether the digital libraries can operate normally or not.Therefore, the selectionand design of storage system and disaster recovery technology schemes is critical to theconstruction and developments of digital libraries.This article focuses on the expansion of a university in Guangzhou for its digital library’sstorage and disaster recovery system, and the relevant theory and practice are analyzed andexplained. First, learning and comparison the popular network storage and disaster recoverytechnology. Next, analysing the status and problems of the digital Library storage and disasterrecovery system of the university in Guangzhou, then made a demand planning of theexpansion. Finally, given a set of design scheme, implementing it and analysing the results,the premise in the rapid growth of the amount of data to respond adequately, guarantee thesafe, stable and reliable, and saving the college’s cost.The last part of the article summarizes the entire program, and a work requirements forthe next step.Hoping this paper can play the role in the construction field of the storage system ofdigital library, the need for providing certain reference about putting the network storage anddisaster recovery system into the digital library and constructing an efficient economic libraryservice system.
