At present, the status quo of production activities in power supply enterprises is mainlyto carry out in the periodic maintenance mode, whose disadvantage is frequent, blind orinsufficient. It makes power equipments repair costly every year around the world, because itwastes resources by the inefficient way of production. And almost all the domestic PMISs(Production safety Management Information System) are developed base on the periodicmaintenance mode. Which is not conducive to evolve from periodic maintenance mode tostatus maintenance mode. Besides, China’s electric power industry did not actually withstanda marked impact in the development process, although it experienced several reforms. Thishas led enterprise managers’ ideas and acts still tend to stay in a rut. Compared with theinternational electric power enterprises, although our country is in the leading position inUHV transmission, power grid control and other individual technology, but it is still a big gapbetween internal and external enterprise managements indeed. And it also gives expression tothe information system construction whose top-level design is provided with neitherlongitudinal correlation nor horizontal collaboration. The disjoint phenomenon betweenstrategy, business and information technology leads to failure of business reform and a largenumber of waste of IT investment.Therefore, this paper will unite the CSG (China Southern Power Grid Co.,Ltd)Production Safety&Risk Management system and Enterprise Architecture methodology, anddesign and implement a PMS based on real-time risk dynamic control, which is conducive topower supply enterprises’ evolution from periodic maintenance mode to status maintenancemode, in order to achieve a new practice which not only satisfies power supply enterprisesrunning the periodic maintenance as a mainstream mode, but also supports the power grid,equipment and personnel risks assessment and dynamic control. It provides a flexible meansto give consideration to both coexistence and transition in periodic and status maintenancemode, in order to adapt to different management level of power supply enterprises which hashighly homogeneous business in China. And then it would help the power supply enterprisesturn into sustainable development of status maintenance mode step by step. At last it wouldurge the information technology to integrate seamlessly into the business, in order to promotethe development of enterprises and lessen the overlapping investment.
