Spectrograph is one of the very important optical instrument. It is a basic equipmentfor observation, analysis and processing to material structure and composition using opticstechnology and spectroscopy, which has many advantages, such as high precision, widemeasurement range, fast speed, low sample consumption etc..It is widely used inmetallurgy, geology, petroleum chemical industry, medicine and health care, environmentalprotection and other fields. At present, the common spectrograph has the disadvantages ofweak integration, weak function expansibility. It is difficult to intelligent analysis of spectrum,and is not suitable for detection of weak light. Aiming at these problems, this paper designsand developes Thermoluminescence Spectrum Detecting Control System Based on LabVIEWusing low temperature CCD detector, virtual instrument technology etc.The hardware of this system mainly consists of SP-150spectrometer and LN/CCDdetector. The SP-150spectrometer is mainly used for spectral, and LN/CCD detector for thedetection of the optical signal.The software of this system is developed with LabVIEW, mainly consists of three parts:1, Instrument control.Instrument control includes the spectrometer control and the CCD control. The mostimportant part of the spectrometer control is the grating spectrometer control. The gratingcontrol includes choosing grating, changing the center wavelength, setting the gratingrotational speed when the center wavelength changing. Spectrometer control includesgrating information for choosing grating. CCD control consists of opening the CCD, settingCCD, initialization of CCD, temperature control, collecting control, closing the CCD andreleasing resources. The collecting control is the core content of the CCD control.2, Data processing.Data processing mainly consists of binning processing, minus the backgroundprocessing, inverting image processing, the wavelength calibration.The binning process is suitable for the case that light source is particularly weak. Minusthe background can make the data accurate directly represents the target lignt source.Inverting image processing can show data more directly. The wavelength calibration is the keyof data processing, as well as the core of this system. The wavelength calibration of thesystem is implemented using polynomial fitting.3, Data expression. This part shows data in a variety of ways such as spectrum display, image display etc.,this allows the users observes data more directly so that can get relevant conclusions moreeasyly.After integrating the hardware and software integration, this paper analysises the stabilityand accuracy of the control system by experiments. The experimental results show that thesystem has reached the design goals. Because of having many characteristics, such asscalability and weak light detection capability is strong, this system can be widely used ingeology, oil chemical industry, environmental protection and other fields.
