The Design Of Smart Home Based On Zigbee

With the improvement of living standards and level of knowledge, people has put forward higher repuirements of living environment. To provide a safe, comfortable, and convenient smart home system will be a trend in the human living environment. This paper, after looked up on the basis of literature data and combined with the characteristics of the domestic market,has developed a complete set of intelligent home system prototypesThrough putting forward a reasonable system architecture solution, and combining the advantages of Embedded technology and Zigbee technology, this paper has structured a workable framework of technical solution. The short-range wireless communication technology, Zigbee technology, is the most suitable choice for smart home wireless networking system, because of its low power consumption,low cost,network capacity, etc. On smart home system hardware side, it designs home gateway and function modules. It has fully considerated its scalability, compatibility with various devices amd achievement different functions when designs the function modules. In software aspect, it has designed the main gateway based on the advantages of embedded programming’s multi-threading technology which brings good robustness and scalability. At the same time, through the research of dynamic embedded Web technology, it’s going to achieve a set of elegant,practical client. Finally, a student dormitory for the test environment, the smart home system designed in this paper for a complete testing laboratory.This system realizes the visualization and the remote control of household equipment by embedding Web technologies.Only by intelligent phones, PC, iPad and other equipment,people can achieve intelligent control of their homes and at the same time monitor and manage them through home monitoring at anytime and anywhere.
