The Design And Implementation Of Multi-Protocol Embedded Gateway For Smart Home

Wireless sensor network is a new platform for information monitor, it is able to collect information of targeted area on real time, after collection the information will be send to the embedded gateway. With the rapid development of computer science, the period of the internet of things will come soon. Smart home is an important part of the internet of things, so it is necessary to build low power consumption, more cheaper smart home system.In the background of smart home based on wireless sensor network, this paper mainly researched the design and implementation of embedded gateway which is a very important part of smart home.Firstly, in this paper I introduced the background of the smart home, the trend of the development and key technologies of the smart home. Then, I introduced the structure, functions and attributes of the smart home. Then, I detailed describe the implementation of embedded gateway, including framework design, the choice of hardware and the design and implementation of software. Finally, I do some function tests to test the software is work well and do some performance tests to test the software can work well under any condition and do some improvement to let the software work better and after all this system is work well in real scene.
