With the improvement of living standard, people pay more and more attention to theliving environment of comfort and security, smart home system to emerge as the timesrequire, and lead the development trend of the Hyundai Residence. The gateway for smarthome system not only has all kinds of family communication between devices, but also tocomplete the function of control and remote monitoring centralized equipment Internetaccess, etc..The main content of this paper is the design and implementation of gateway forembedded wireless smart home system hardware circuit, software design method andsystem gateway. In this paper, smart home system are briefly introduced, the gateway forsmart home scheme and family of short distance wireless communication technologyavailable. The characteristics of ZigBee technology, a detailed analysis of the protocolspecification, networking and communications. The overall function of the position ofgateway system, and proposes the use of S3C6410microprocessor, embedded smart homegateway is constructed with ZigBee technology and Linux operating system scheme.Focusing on the design and implementation of gateway software and hardware, includingthe selection and design of each module circuit, the transplantation of Linux operatingsystem, the development of Z-Stack software, the realization of embedded webserve andman-machine interface, eventually the family of local and remote monitoring equipment.
