Research On Process Improvement In Y Co. Based On CMM

With the development of information technology and the global informationization,software industry has become one of the fastest-growing industries today. Software ProcessStandardization has been gaining more and more attention and Capacity Maturity Modelemerge at a historic moment. Nowadays CMM has become de facto standard used by manyindustry companies to measure the effectiveness of IT organizations and to improve softwareprocesses.This paper provides a good deal of insight into the CMM from a testing point of view andpresents the relationship between software testing and the CMM, which provides new ideasfor other small and medium-sized enterprises in software process improvement andtheoretically verifies the feasibility at the same time. By analyzing the cases, this papertheoretically improves the Software Process Capacity of Y Company based on the CMMtheory and software testing principles, so as to improve the capacity, efficiency and quality ofsoftware production and further enhance the competitiveness and social credibility of YCompany.
