Today, enterprises have higher and higher requirements for logistics business.Accordingly, XX logistics companies are constantly undergoing changes. XX LogisticsCompany’s businesses include sales, storage, distribution, transport and procurement,etc. But their use of relatively backward warehouse management to some extenthindered the smooth development of the company. With the current increasing demandfor warehouse management, automation and integration have become urgent problems,while a wealth of information for the new era logistics enterprises is very important. Inorder to help with the company’s management and normal running in a modernized andnew way so as to make the running scientifically, efficiently, reasonably, andeconomically, and in the meantime to improve the level of information of businessprocesses, it is necessary to refer to the method of developing computer software.Therefore, for modern logistics enterprises, scientific and advanced management systemis indispensable. Based on the background of nowadays’ logistics business, the authordesigns a new set of logistic management system to cope with a series of practicalissues in logistics companies.This system is based on Windows XP operating system and applies successful avariety of development tools, including XML, XSD, C++, etc., and adopts newprogramming techniques facing the majority of the audience, and SQL Server databases.Based on the distributed program WEB SERVICE, it creates new applications that canbe interactively manipulated and adapt it to the practical needs of logistics enterprises increating a completely new warehouse management information system, which isstandardized, systematic, and automatic. This system is easy to operate, applicable inexchange of sharing information, economic of labor-saving, and helpful with cost-control. It can also help strengthen comprehensive power and realize sustainabledevelopment of the company.This article introduces in detail the development of the warehousing anddistribution system and its final application in practice. The system covers two parts,one is the transport and distribution management module, and the second is thewarehouse management module. The former is responsible for delivering of shippingout of the library, checking the driver and vehicle conditions, checking out the vehicle back to the factory information. The latter set a number of functions in one, such assystem registration, records of materials, warehouse management, and materials storageand so on, together with equipment procurement management and generate variousreports etc. By using this system, the logistics business automation can be effectivelyachieved, efficiency can be improved, and duplication and costs can be reduced, therebyimproving business performance.Rational use of this system will help us effectively improve labor efficiency, reducenecessary labor time, reduce the cost of inputs, etc. It has great significance for logisticsenterprises to improve performance and achieve business automation.
