Design And Realization Of Library Management System Based On Web2.0

With the development of internet technology and the upgrade of related networkdevices, there are a great increasing numbers of internet users and internet softwareapplied in all walks of life. After the Web2.0presented, more and more internetapplication become focus on the interaction among users. As a traditional center ofinformation data, library contains vast amounts of library resources and informationdata, in order to take full advantage of the Internet to provide people with a moreconvenient way to access a library of books and information data, so it needs to developa fully functional library management system with personalized service.Base on the usage of software engineering ideas, the thesis analyzes the shortagesof the current relevant books management system and related information managementsystem based on Web2.0, and took deeply analysis and design for Hunan IndustryPolytechnic library management system. The software system uses B/S architectureintegrated with Web2.0technology, take object-oriented development tool Java andMicrosoft SQL Server database for implementation. The Library management systemachieves general functions, provides authority control, user-friendly interface and easyto use. Moreover, the system designs a students’ interactive community for readerssharing their own resource and talking about their own feeling about the same book.After testing, the library management system not only achieves the functionalrequirements of small and medium libraries and management requirements, but alsoreaches the requirements of many features of a system, such as security, reliability,stability and so on.The library system has library management system and office automation platform,which improves work efficiency and simplifies library management procedures. Inaddition, the library also designs a reader interaction community, to provide the onlineexchange platform for the readers, on which the reader can communicate with eachother and talk about book or the shortage of system.
