Employee Mangement System Design And Development

Today, with the development of economy, the computer technology is developingin the high-speed, more and more companies and individuals began to use computers tohandle daily affairs, computer management has increasingly replaced the traditionalmanual management mode, and also enterprise management had more changes, so areasonable employee management system is essential to the development of enterprises.Employee Management System is a typical application of managing information system（know as MIS）,which has good practical value and broad application prospect. Thissystem is an information management system specifically designed for enterprise.Therefore, the design of a standardized, automated management system for enterpriseemployees has great theoretical and practical significance.This system’s analyses and design mainly from the factors of safety, efficiency,scientific, convenient, and so on. Its main features include: fast and flexible query,modify, delete, and add all the employee information, convenient and quick printingtabular reports. The system has simple interface and good expansibility.After the brief introduction of the current domestic and international informationmanagement systems, and enterprise information management system developmentstatus, it discusses the key features and functionality of Visual Basic6.0and SQL Server2000. This paper introduce the design and implementation process of EmployeeManagement System from two aspects.First, the establishment and maintenance ofback-end database. The system designed six data tables using SQL Server2000, andbuilt up a database having strong consistency and good security.Secondly, the designand implementation of front interface. The system uses Visual Basic6.0as adevelopment platform, it uses a variety of object-oriented development tools, and it canoperate back-end database conveniently by data window. The system designed fourmain modules: system management module, management module basic informationabout employees, information management module for employee time and attendance,employee mobility information management module. Each module includesinformation’s deletion, search, addition and modification. The system possessescharacteristics of full function and being easy to use, it can provide sufficientinformation and quick inquiry method for the business managers, and it can realize the high efficiency, scientific and normalization of enterprise management. In the end ofthis dissertation, we conclude the whole dissertation and point out the furtherimprovement.
