Mine management informatization, intelligentialize visualization is the development direction of modern mine management. The real-time information of mine is closely linked to a dynamic, active, and spatial location information, the amount of data involved is so huge that it is particularly important to collect and monitor information intelligently, effectively and manage information scientifically.In the mine safety monitoring information, the core is real-time and dynamic query management of underground personnel, the PC can timely grasp of the number of underground personnel, location information and the implementation of effective scheduling on it, to achieve the coordination of production, improve the efficiency either.Mine personnel positioning and management system which this article relates to is a set of comprehensive management system included personnel information management, attendance management, tracking and positioning. The emphasis is that the system can observe the dynamic target on real-time, mobile case, and query the historical data of target, which is conducive to strengthening the management of coal mine underground information. But as the ground production command and management department, mastering the underground personnel, vehicles, and tracking the position information is especially important. This software is the underground personnel positioning and management system software based on Visual Basic and GIS, its main functions consist of the personnel information management, attendance management, salary holiday management of general management system software, in addition the core content is the specific information of underground personnel arid vehicle and displaying on the screen, through which we can specifically query localization, tracking, historical track playback and other functions. The system mainly includes the client application development, GIS positioning module design, database establishment, connection and maintenance, the method used is integrated redevelop, using Visual Basic to develop the program, using OLE method to start the GIS tool software MapInfo performing in the background, to obtain the return information using dynamic callback technology, so as to achieve the geographic information processing functions in the application.
