In the early1980s, the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) put forwards theconcept of “free flight”. Automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) technology isthe indispensable technical foundation of “free flight”. ADS-B technology will be used as themain means of future aviation surveillance by the ICAO, some countries have carried outsome theoretical researches and practical tests, our country have also been preliminaryapplication. However, according to the current situation, the received ADS-B message appearsinevitable loss and error, which caused ADS-B trajectory error and low tracking accuracy. Atthe same time, the development of track display system is not fully, thus, it reducedmonitoring performance of ADS-B system.In this paper, firstly, the research background and the development at home and abroadof ADS-B system is introduced, and then, this article makes a detailed description on theframe, principle of ADS-B system, ADS-B message and ADS-B application.Secondly, this paper introduces the main content of track processing and puts forward thetrack processing process, then makes analysis and research on track motion model andfiltering algorithm, which including classical Kalman algorithm and Kalman algorithm basedon the “current” statistical model, this paper makes some researches and simulations, theeffectiveness of the adaptive filtering algorithm based on the “current” statistical model totrack processing is verified, and by comparing the experiment results, it indicates that thisalgorithm can make effective filtering processing of ADS-B message, identify and suppressfalse data, forecast track, and finally realizes high precision monitoring of aircrafts.Then, this paper makes an analysis of track system requirements, makes system designaccording to the function requirements of ADS-B track display system. During the process ofimplementation, it applies the thought of software layering, divides and introduces thefunction of the software, and finally realizes the display the real-time track of aircraftsaccording to filtered message provided by the database.Finally, in the research of ADS-B track display in the digital map, this paper makes adetailed description on the display process of ADS-B track. This system uses the MicrosoftAccess as a database, Visual C++6.0as a development environment, MapX as a developmentcontrol, it displays aircraft tracks on the digital map by taking advantage of dynamic layers, and refreshes automatically, finally realizes each function of the software and meets thedisplay requirements. The conclusion sums up the whole thesis and gives the direction of thefurther research.
