Study Of Good New Sevaluation System In Beijing Daily

The existing good news evaluation system of Beijing Daily includes reviewing staff’s review and news quality evaluation.The former appraises and elects daily good news and the latter scores each piece of news on the newspaper.And collecting and editing staff in the newspaper office take them as the evaluation standard of good news and instruct the implementation of collecting and editing activities.However, this evaluation system is lack of the main body of evaluation who has the best say---news reader.It’s not difficult to find that there exist more or less differences between the good news that the readers maintain and the good news that the leaders or experts firmly believe through random sampling.Given this situation, this research attempts to add a reader evaluation indicator to build a relatively complete good news evaluation system on the basis of original system.The thesis selects300readers of Beijing Daily to conduct online survey thus to learn about the attributes in topic, content, language and timeliness of good news in readers’heart and to refine the principle and standard that readers adhere in evaluating good news, and intends to collect feedback signals of reader’s evaluation through on-line and off-line channels.Meanwhile, based on the research data, the thesis attempts to build the three-level indicator of good news multidimensional evaluation system, that is, to evaluate news from the dimensions of experts, newspaper office and reader.Different evaluation modes have different emphasis and evaluation indicator. Combined with the in-depth interview of reviewing staff and quality assessment staff, the thesis refines the evaluation indicator of the Beijing Daily’s original evaluation mode adopted by reviewing staff through analysis of internal material.The thesis combines the evaluation indicator of reviewing staff, quality assessment indicator and reader evaluation indicator and establishes a brand new good news multidimensional evaluation system which has certain reference value. The thesis aims to improve original system to evaluate and select good news which conforms to the standard put forward by expert, suits the positioning of newspaper office and satisfies the readers.
