Guangxi as the main window and platform for ASEAN exchanges and cooperation,the local media was correspondingly played a major role in China for ASEAN to theinternational communication, assume the main tasks and responsibilities of theASEAN international communication and cultural exchange. Therefore,how thepresent situation of Guangxi local media development, capitalize on the trend, goodpolicies to deal with the opportunities and challenges currently facing the leap anddevelopment Guangxi media, and further promote the international communication ofwork to achieve greater influence of such a question is worth that we attach importanceto it and its study.This paper argues that, by virtue of its economic strength in emerging developingcountries to break the old pattern of international communication of Westerndeveloped countries monopolize the new situation, our media should grasp theopportunity to enhance and expand its international influence, to ifght the internationalcommunication of the right to speak in the worldwide. Balance the internationalpolitical situation in the ASEAN region’,Chinas media should maintain and strengthenthe international communication of the ASEAN region,and to lay the foundation forthe realization of our national interests in the region.Guangxi TV media at this stage there are five main forms communicate to theASEAN: news reports, thematic column theme week of iflms,television broadcastingand theatrical show. The Guangxi TV media content ASEAN communication to themain news programs, both cultural, entertainment and video programs, informationprograms in a secondary position, sports, religion and other categories of programdeletion. The Guangxi TV media coverage of the ASEAN communication has beenbasically achieved. ASEAN audience of religious, ethnic and linguistic characteristicssignificantly, and there is a large number of overseas Chinese population. ASEANaudience of media content information content-based information content includingnews, commerce,tourism and services, the level of demand and other types of contentmixed performance.Currently, the communication of ASEAN in the Guangxi TV media mainly fouraspects: the integration of media resources is not enough, the content product quality isnot high,the media a lack of talent as well as low propagation degree of localization.Therefore,we should take the following countermeasures to solve the problems of Guangxi TV media international communication to the ASEAN. The specific measuresinclude: optimize media resources to the government-led integration, high-qualitycontent products to establish a media brand, a flexible mechanism to createhigh-quality talent and practical action to promote the localization of internationalcommunication.
