Strategy Research In Course Objectives And Design For Anchor Education

The concept of Course Objectives is extremely important in moderntheory. The goal of which has been set up in a curricula not only guides but restricts thework of undergraduate and graduate teaching in a large extent. In the last few decades,some well-known educators across the world have input large amount theories aboutformulating and classifying the Course Objectives, in which these objectives have beenbenefiting to the process of teaching.The rapid development of television and broadcasting industry has nourished theanchor education industry in China. Nowadays, there are more than300universities inChina that have included the major of Television and Broadcasting Hosting. In additionto the Communication University of China (CUC) and Zhejiang Institute of Media andCommunication (ZIMC), which have top curricula in Television and BroadcastingHosting, some other universities have established this major or related courses.Although the universities have established diverse subjects and courses in themajor of Television and Broadcasting Hosting, there are obstacles and barriers oftargeting the educational goal precisely according to the major. Most universities just setthe same goals of training and course objectives as what CUC and ZIMC do, andtherefore this leads to the similar contents and results of broadcasting and hostingcourses in the current industry. Furthermore, the students are not able to develop theirown characteristics and traits; through the education, the students are going to graduatedwith unreal experience of the mainstream media today. In the meantime, someprofessors of Television and Broadcasting Hosting major do not have clear goals andcourse objectives. Students in fact receive the outdated knowledge at the end, whichcauses the lack of characters of their work.Having reasonable course objectives can exam and evaluate the performance of the students, though in some universities, of which have the major of Television andBroadcasting Hosting, are unable to develop the related pedagogies effectively whileignoring the positive outcomes that the course objectives can bring out during theteaching process. The target of this research is to summarize the relative theories indeveloping Course Objectives of Television Broadcasting Hosting based on thedesirable course objectives of the major.In the strategy research of anchor education, my research based on two foundations:one is the ideal course objectives that have brought up above; another is targeting thestrategy research in anchor education. Under these two foundations, we ought to ponderthe strategies of which could be discovered and applied in anchor education. Therefore,more students who will be pursuing their dreams can be educated effectively.
