Automatic step feeding system of the CNC punching, stamping equipment is combined togetherfor stamping production, in order to realise the basic requirements of press automation. Its degree ofautomation determines the level of efficiency and level of automation of stamping production.Traditional punching equipment uses hand-feeding for control, which is inefficient, slow and can notguarantee the accuracy, have security risks, therefore a good and stable control system is needed,embedded system is the best choice among many control systems. In particular, embedded system isdeveloped rapidly in recent years, which plays an irreplaceable role in various fields. In this paper, theSTM32microprocessor that has been widely applied in industy control is used as the main controller,with fast, high-precision, stability in control. The system can complete automatic step feeding, whileits position accuracy is high, hardware and software is designed to be simple, easy to operate and hasa good man-machine interface.The device designed in this paper is used in conjunction with630T stamping machine to completethe task of automatic stamping molding to the workpieces. It should be based on a preset task torequire running track of mechanism with the programme mode, complete its behavior controlautomatically, finish stamping of the entire production process.This paper design mainly includes thethree following aspects:(1) According to the actual requirements of production and control system design principles, theoverall design of feed system is made, the whole organization design is cleared and its moving partsare analysed;(2) The control circuit of implementing mechanism is designed, into four parts: design of mainprogramme; interface design, link of control system with computer and AC servo motor drive ofexecutive body in the feeding system;(3) Simulate the control algorithm of motor in Matlab by using fuzzy control algorithm and PIDcontrol algorithm, compare with classic PID control algorithm, the optimal control strategy forfuzzy-PID controller is fixed, which enhances positioning response time of the system, makesimplementing quickly close to the target and speed stable without overshoot.In the end, a brief summary and outlook to the whole scheme was gived.
