With the characteristics of WiFi transmission system, it is widely used in variousfields, such as power systems, transportation systems. Different applicationenvironments, resulting in performance and functional requirements of the system willbe difference. Software testing ensures the development of the WiFi transmissionsystem with high quality. System testing is used to test the operation of the wholesystem, which is the last stage of Test Cycle.The purpose of this thesis is based the development of the WiFi transmissionsystem.Upon the existing theories, it presents an efficient algorithm which providestheoretical and technical support.I do the study from the three elements of the test:object, theory, method.In thispaper, the main contents as followed:①An overview. Analyzing the significance and background of the WiFitransmission system device under developing and testing. The software testingtechnologies and wireless communication technologies are introduced briefly.Focusedon the development of WiFi technologies in IEEE802.11series.②Study of theobject. Combined with Long-distance transmission requirement ofpower system, skills adaptability of the physical layer and data link layer are discussedin the WiFi standard (IEEE802.11). Further, test indicators such as throughput andlatency are established.③Study of the theory. The test case generation rule-based system functionalrequirements algorithm is described. The algorithm effectively combined the system testcase generation technologies: functional diagram and scene method. For test validity,based on decision table technical criteria is presented for determining the completenessof testing. Considering the progress of engineering practice test questions, the PORTalgorithm is used to divided into test cases prioritization.④Study of the method. Using API Framework, automated test application toWiFi transmission line monitoring system. According to the demands, improved thecontrol module using Selenium, test output using third-party testing software IPERF.⑤Experimental demonstration. The test work of the WiFi transmission system.
