The emergence of smart home changes the way people looking upon the concept of thetraditional lifestyle on residence. In order to solve the high cost, limit range, high endusers-faced, difficulty to popularize and other deficiencies of the existing smart home systemproducts, this paper researches and designs curtain controller, lamp controller, wireless wallswitch and other terminal controllers.Firstly, a kind of four layers overall architecture solution with terminal controller,gateways, server, smart phone was put forward by contrasting with the existing smart homesystem performance. The star topology ZigBee network is applied between gateway andterminal controllers. And the designed control protocol for the two layer makes the lowestlevel terminals can communicate with the other three layers through ZigBee network directlyor indirectly.Secondly, the similarities and differences about ordinary lamp, dimmer lamp, curtains areanalyzed about the control mode, then few peripheral circuits are used to design lampcontroller, dimmer lamp controller, curtain controller, wall switch in detail with the maincontrol chip CC2530, respectively power conversion, implementation circuit, zero-crossingdetection circuit for lamp controller and dimmer lamp controller, power conversion, drivercircuit, signal conditioning circuit for curtain controller, power conversion, filter circuit forwall switch controller.And then the IAR integrated development environment was adopted in developingcontrol program for these terminal controllers abide by modular program design cogitationbased on Z-stack protocol stack. Specifically they are comprised of joining in the network,leaving the network, address management, learning curtain trip, controlling devices. Thesecontrollers can automatically fall asleep for maintaining low power consumption when thecontrollers are being idle.Finally, the hardware and software of these controllers are meticulously tested onfunctionality and performance. The test results indicate that these terminal controllers runstable, control reliable, and they meet the design requirements and possesses of a highapplication value.
